After-Hours Clinical Support

People undergoing cancer treatment may occasionally become unwell outside of normal consulting hours. If you are concerned about new or worsening symptoms after hours or on weekends, you may contact the Hollywood Private Hospital switchboard and ask to speak with the oncology ward nurse in charge. The nursing team can provide immediate clinical advice. If your situation requires escalation, the nurse will contact the on-call oncologist for further guidance.

Prof Khattak participates in an oncology on-call roster to ensure continuous patient care. When he is on leave or attending professional commitments, a covering oncologist will be available. The oncology wards at Hollywood Private Hospital are informed of the on-call specialist and can direct urgent clinical queries appropriately.
